We can't explain the beauty of this place, but the time we spent here was magical. The setting for the house is amazing right beside Glenariff Forest Park and the waterfalls. The house itself is just as we imagined lots of rooms and all immaculately clean. Plenty of towels and kitchen utensils.

This will certainly be a place kept close to our hearts as we had such an amazing time relaxing here and will definitely be back.

“A perfect place to stay in a beautiful part of the country.”

We have just come back from a week's holiday, staying at Hazelwood for a family holiday in Northern Ireland. The cottage was perfect, spacious, clean and comfortable with everything (and more) that we needed. The welcome pack with biscuits, milk and bread was a lovely touch and there is plenty of information about the area. It is in an ideal location, with lovely walks around the forest park with waterfalls on the doorstep, and close to the beautiful Causeway Coast. There are places to eat close by in Cushendall and plenty of quiet, clean, beautiful beaches and places to visit both on the coast and inland. The Giant's Causeway and Rope Bridge were the busiest but worth visiting early and you can avoid crowds. Elsewhere was quiet and peaceful. It is definitely an area we would visit again and again.

“Beautiful location.. Wonderful accomodation”

We stayed here for 2 nights in May 2015. Patricia made us feel very welcome. The house is much larger than the norm for self catering accomodation. It was spotlessly clean and the views from the house are breathtaking. Located just beside the hidden gem that is the Laragh Lodge restaurant, Hazelwood is a must stay location if you are looking for that perfect Glens of Antrim holiday. Would definitely go back again!

“Great location, clean and well equipped accommodation and very friendly welcome”

Just back from a three night stay at Hazelwood with my family. The house is so close to the bottom entrance to the Glenariff Waterfall Walk that you can hear the falls from the front door. Waterfoot and Cushendall are 5 minutes drive away and it's a great location for touring the Glens and the Causeway Coast. Patricia was very helpful and welcoming and the house is very clean, cosy and well equipped with those everyday items that aren't always on hand in self catering accommodation. I'll definitely be back. Thank you Patricia.

“Fantastic location, very well equipped house, home from home”

The location in the Glen, right beside a pedestrian entrance to Glenariff forest park with amazing waterfall walks was brilliant with young kids, we did several visits exploring and playing in the park, even in wet weather. It is a short drive (5 mins) to the beach and a great base for exploring all the fantastic attractions and scenic routes the area has to offer. The house is lovely and in a great setting, it is clean and cosy with all mod cons, it had an open fire all set up for us and every thing you could need in the massive kitchen. Patricia is very welcoming even leaving bread, milk & butter for us on arrival.
