We were late for lunch and found this little gem in Cushendall. This is ultimate home-cooking at it's best. Prepare to seat yourself and grab a menu yourself. They ain't going to give you one. You aren't in a restaurant here. The ambiance is astonishing, great just to sit and watch all paintings stuff and everything. An old pick-up player is playing some really nice tunes. The offer quite a variety of menu items. We went with the daily special (baked potato with a filling of choice) and a ploughman's lunch platter. Both 5-6 pounds only. The ploughman's lunch came with home made soda bread which was the very best we ever had. As a dessert we opted for the cherry-apple crumble with custard (to die for) and just ordered another slice of that awesome soda bread. They shared both the crumble and soda bread recipe so we can make this great food ourselves. Left with a good filled stomach across this beautiful coastline.
