Cottage was in a ideal location for village of Cushendall, beach and exploring Antrim coast. The house was warm and very well equipped. With everything needed for a comfortable stay. The living room had a open fire and you could see the see.
We will definitely make a return visit.
A stone's throw from the beach, a short walk from local amenities, the cottage has everything one might need. Dog friendly ( enclosed gardens front and rear ), car park. Less than a minute's walk to wine shop/.convenience shop, less than ten minutes' walk to pubs/restaurants. Lovely and warm, lots of towels/bed linen, welcome pack of tea/coffee, fruit bread, butter, sky tv, wifi, washer, drier, dish washer plus all other kitchen facilities, shower and bath. Lords of info re: local area, things to do. Cushendall is a lovely place, great for walking along the cost, through woods.hope to return quite soon.

The house was spotless, warm and inviting. Lots of bed linen and towels. When we arrived there was tea making supplies and a fruit cake, which was much appreciated. A very pleasant lady met us and gave us a run down on the area. Lovely area with lovely walks. Really enjoyed our stay.

Ballymacdoe cottage is affordable accomodation in a quaint coastal Irish village, we were meeting with relatives and needed somewhere central to stay. The cottage had good sized rooms and modern decor. The washing machine was great and a very quick tumble dryer as we had accumulated a lot of washing. In a quiet residential area but minutes from the sea front. Gerard and Catriona very welcoming and were very helpful , plenty space for 4 to 6 people and a pleasant living room and dining area. Garden and BBQ for the summer months.Would certainly recommend.

We stayed here for a family weekend. Owner Gerard was very flexible and allowed us to bring a dog. It is a comfortable cottage, with a cosy fire and big back garden, perfect for BBQs. The location is ideal, 5 minutes walk to the beach and 10minute to one of the best pubs in Ireland, Johnny Joe's, that regularly has traditional irish music live. Also good base to explore the amazing Glens of Antrim and the north coast.
