When you first arrive at the Shola House B&B you are somewhat underwhelmed. It is small and quite quaint which to some extent is to be expected. But you really need to experience Shola as it is. Enter and stay and you will be very very surprised and pleased. The place is small and quaint but so very well done. Everything is just right: the beds are wonderful; the showers are strong and work; the WIFI is strong and fast. That you should expect as a guest but so often don't get it at so many B&Bs. Additionally, you will love the small touches to the ambiance that Sharon has provided. She is very creative and clever. The décor is simply great...very tasteful; just right. And of course there's Sharon. She's a perfectly delightful hostess and very attentive to making every aspect of your stay "just right." Believe me, we stopped at many B&Bs in Ireland and this was the best. Try it, you'll like it.

Thanks very much for taking the time to post this excellent review and for your very kind words and compliments. Delighted that Shola was the best of the many B&B's you stayed at in Ireland. We look forward to welcoming you back on your next golfing trip to the North Coast.

The Shola Coach House is a glorious refurbished original building. It is a jewel of Northern Ireland with charming and helpful folks running it. The owners were kind and generous when we showed up lost and late. The breakfasts were the best we had in the entire country and the rooms were terribly comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Giant's Causeway area, Bushmills area or anywhere in Northern Ireland.

Room tip: Top room was a family room which has a spare bed that could be used for children or a third person. The bed is accessed by a small ladder.

Having stayed at Shola a couple of years ago with my wife, I had to return, this time with my son. Perfectly located near wonderful scenery for driving, walking and exploring, Shola is a fantastic place to stay. Beautiful house, made so hospitable by Sharon's warmth, Dave's breakfasts, and helpful tips and advice for travelling, eating and drinking. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Time to start planning my next return trip!

The room was very comfortable with a nice view. The claw foot tub in the bathroom was a bonus. Very nice sitting room and wonderful breakfast with home made bread each morning. This was the best B&B we stayed in during our 3 weeks in Ireland!

Room tip: We stayed in the Buttercup room and it was great. There are only 4 rooms and I think any of them would be nice.

Four of us had a wonderful stay. The facilities were beautiful. Sharon was so helpful with suggestions on where to travel and what time to travel to minimize crowds. The breakfasts were amazing. It is very close to the major attractions yet in a very quiet and private location. This stay was an unexpected pleasure and we would have loved to stay longer!
