We book to stay for a couple of night in our caravan, when we arrived it was not clear where you where supposed to park and find reception.. Double yellow lines outside, when we checked in we where very surprised to find we where jammed in between other vans next to the road. This isn't shown on the site map when you book it looks like an internal roadway on the site.. So you here all the trafic coming and going.
There is barely enough room between vans! The best pitches are overlooking the bay, but these seem to be booked up a long time in advance. As others have said this site is very noisy! Not a great spot for relaxing. We would maybe come back when it's quieter and we could get a pitch with a view.

We stayed for a weekend in May. The view from our touring pitch was stunning and we loved that aspect of our stay but that was all.

The toilet and shower block was close at hand and was accessible via a swipe card which is understandable since it is close to the beach. However, the facilities were in severe need of refurbishment. The showers had seats for disabled visitors but there was rust visible. In addition the showers required the use of tokens which needed to be purchased.

While the above criticisms may appear minor by far the most distressing aspect of said facilities was their closure at 10 pm. There was a "night toilet" available. We discovered this fact on our first morning upon returning from an early walk. It was 8.00 am and we could not gain access to the main block which apparently should have been open from 7.00 am. That left us with the "night toilet" the condition of which was, frankly, foul. One toilet serving the tourist pitches is not acceptable. Why was the main block locked and shuttered at nights when access could be gained by a swipe card only?
