“Lovely spacious apartment in beautiful town.”
Reviewed 13 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Very spacious for a 1-bedroom apartment. Very pleasant and up to date. Would definitely stay again. Difficult to find initially - more specific directions would have been useful.

“Great location great accommodation great value - what's not to like???”

We stayed for 4 nights from 29 December 2014 in this 1 bedroom apartment

We had visited BoA briefly 20 years ago and with birthdays being 2 days apart straddling the New Year we decided to revisit and stay a little longer.

The brief was for well located - pubs shops and attractions - self-catering accommodation. After research we found this flat through Holiday Lettings and we're not disappointed.

Before arrival we received detailed instructions via email on how to make the most of the in-house facilities - just one tip a map would have been useful.

There was a warning that parking is at a premium and it is but there is free parking about a quarter of a mile uphill on Woolley Street.

So where is it? - well as with everything once you know where it is it is easy to find - so here are some tips - basically the flat which is within Terracotta Court is at the junction with Market Street and Silver Street set back in a smal square between the the Teapot and Art Shop - at the mini roundabout turn down the side of Budgeons - one way street - pull into one of the (un)loading bays - 2 either side of the road immediately outside the supermarket - turn around and walk towards the Teapot and the flat is up a flight of open concrete steps from a little square - to find longer term parking follow the road around to the left through the new housing area back to junction with Silver Street and turn right and follow the road for about 200+ yards and Woolley Street should be on your left – we were able to park for free alongside the wall for 4 days – but we could have been lucky

To the flat - once inside - there is small lobby for coats and shoes/walking boots - leading to the kitchen - very well equipped - cooker but no microwave – washing machine but no dishwasher - coffee maker plus real coffee supplied - jams and biscuits - washing up liquids - cold fridge - tea towels – extensive range of cleaning materials - basically the works – there is also a small table with chairs for more formal dining tucked in the corner

The bedroom with dressing area/lobby is to your left - good size with comfy bed with duvet - hanging space and chest of drawers - wall mounted heater

Straight on is the bathroom - large walk-in shower with rain forest head - enough hot water for 2 showers - plus there is a 20 minute boost facility - large bath towels - underfloor heating + heated towel rail

To you right is the lounge – large space - comfy sofa and chair (John Lewis) – largish Samsung flat screen TV + Sky HD box with recording facilities but without movie and sport channels – a real bonus during the festive period - a sofa bed for an additional guest(s) - fan heater - and one of the most powerful Wi-Fi signals I have experienced – being the festive period there was a Christmas tree with lights and some festive sprigs to add to the ambiance

The flat is really centrally located - a range of eateries are within easy walking distance - we ate at the Dandy Lion which we found to be very welcoming and served tasty good value food - there are more gourmet options for the discerning palate and deeper pockets - Budgeons offers day to day convenience shopping and is open early and closes late - for more choice there is a Sainsbury’s elsewhere in the town - walks start from your doorstep - we walked to Bath along the canal and caught the train back - BoA seems to be really well served by rail which would be a real benefit for a longer stay - the town walk which includes the Tithe Barn and the views from the Tory over the town and beyond is recommended

This flat is very comfortable and really feels like a home from home - we would stay here again in the future - thank you

“Lovely flat which is well placed for trains to Bath. The town is great too!”
Reviewed 19 December 2014 for a stay in December 2014

Really enjoyed staying in the flat. It was difficult to find parking and find the place itself but after that it was easy enought getting in. Absolutely stunning place with great facilities. Truly a home from home!
The owners were ridiculously helpful when I was fretting over the plans too!

We fell in love with Bradford on Avon and the apartment was so conveniently located. The apartment was smartly decorated and had everything we might need. The owner was prompt in responding to all our emails. Apartment was clean. We loved being in the heart of town and so close to all the shops, grocery, restaurants and pubs. Parking was just up the hill, so not a problem. Bradford on Avon is also a perfect location as a base for travel to Bath, Salisbury, Stonehenge, Avebury, the Cotswolds and the gorgeous countryside of Wiltshire. We didn't want to leave.
