Amazing introduction to the Caribbean, staying in a wonderful villa with all the facilities that you could need. Lying by the pool with a beer, there was almost no need to ever leave but the island is vibrant and exciting and the locals are very friendly. Lots of places to eat and drink nearby and spectacular beaches a short drive away. Would definitely go back and stay again!
Nutmeg Bay, what a place to really feel relaxed in private. Spacious and secluded, a group of friends can cook well, swim well, relax well. Thanks to Tom A we had some excellent dining suggestions the pick of the local festivities. Thanks for a great time.

We booked this trip with a bit of trepidation, not really knowing what to expect of Grenada. But it was great, the people are lovely, really welcoming and fun, and there's no end to the sandy bars, and beautiful views.
The house was lovely, we spent many evenings just lounging by the pool looking out to the sea with a G&T in hand. What more could you want! Also the rooms all opening out onto the pool area made for a communal but private affair, so we didn't feel like we were tripping up each other.
The rental guys were really helpful, with advice on what to do (checking out Fish Friday was awesome) and transport, it took all the stress out of the organising.
Wish I was back there now!

A group of us went to Nutmeg Bay Villa on the recommendation of a friend who had been previously. It was truly beautiful. The villa itself is HUGE. There were 10 of us there during the week and at no point did we all feel on top of each other. A special mention needs to go to the extremely well fitted kitchen, dining room and of course the beautiful outside area with the pool. Most nights a few of us would chip in and make a meal for the group and we'd all sit around the dining room table, chatting, laughing and drinking wine and rum. The maids were also lovely, keeping our beds and clothes clean and smelling fresh.
The villa is in a quiet area which is only a little drive away from the main town, where you can find restaurants, bars etc. The island itself has loads to offer, personal favourites include crab racing, visiting beaches, sea kayaking and scuba diving. And, of course the weather. It was very sunny and warm.
Honestly, I'm sure we would have had a great time in Grenada regardless, but Nutmeg Bay Villa really did add to the experience and I would highly recommend it to anybody visiting the island.
Went out with a group of friends and had a wonderful time. The property is clean and incredibly spacious. The maids seem to operate invisibly; rooms are magically tidied and spotless! The swimming pool surrounded by plenty of sun lounger was a lovely way to relax in the hot afternoons. The area around the villa is peaceful but the livelier parts of the island are only a short drive away. I would highly recommend a stay at Nutmeg Bay and look forward to coming back one day!

We had our second trip to this villa in early December and it was as wonderful as the first time 2 years ago. We travelled as a couple with a larger group of friends both times. The villa is very spacious with lots of different spots for relaxing in; so it works really well for groups, especially where you've got grown up couples who want something a bit romantic and who still want to hang out with friends but not be squashed together with them. It also has a lovely pool which you can step straight out onto from your room and which overlooks the bay. I really like the location- it's slightly out of the main town so in a quiet, non-touristy spot, but is only a short drive (you really need a car) to some good restaurants and bars and into the town itself. In general, Grenada is great- there are some beautiful beaches and some fun things to do (lots of food, lots of rum, diving, Fish fridays street market etc etc) but it isn't (yet) overrun with tourists. We hIghly recommend using the colourful Cateye for taxi runs/tours of the island!
