Did this walk a few times before and it is always great. Parked in lower car park and walked to upper lake for peaceful board walk with amazing scenery. Carried on down a gravel road currently being developed. Signposts will bring you back to lower car park. Walk around 8k and takes 60-80 mins. Hill up a little challenging but worth it. You can drive up hill of course to upper lake.

My husband found info on this park and although I have made several trips to Ireland and to the Dingle Peninsula, I had never heard of this beautiful, tranquil park.
Worth mentioning is that I did a couple of the walks around the lakes, two days after I sprained my ankle with no problem.

We drove in and it is amazing - there is no cost. You can walk around and just enjoy the area. We did not make it to the boardwalk area as it was getting late in the day. Be cautioned there are some rough places in the road (pot holes) - just take it slow and be on the lookout and you will have no problem. It's worth it - absolutely gorgeous and we had no problems with flies/bugs. Enjoy!!

Beautiful place to go walking, drove up to top car park, forestry track so a little rough in spots. Did the board walk around the lake. Really lovely walk, well worth a visit
