We stumbled upon these woods because we got lost but it was one of the highlights of our trip. Parking is accessible and There are walking trails with easy access for families of all ages. We never saw another car while we were there and it was so beautiful and peaceful. Definitely worth the visit.

If your ever in this area this is a must visit. This is a stunning walk around a beautiful lake in one of the most beautiful places in ireland. It's set up for easy access with a lovely boardwalk around the lake. On a lovely day it breathtakingly beautiful. I highly recommend anyone and everyone to give it a try

Went here today with the lovely Ursula.

There are two lakes you can drive to or walk to if you're healthy. Anyway we drove up to them and parked at each one.

I'm telling you! The upper lake is stunning. There's a little boardwalk with railings built the whole way round the lake. It'll take you about a half hour to do it but it's absolutely beautiful. Lovely clear water and a few fellas fly fishing for brown trout in there.

''Twas only gorgeous and well worth a trip!

If the weather is bad, go and see it. Its not a big park and has a number of lakes, roads are dirt but passable....

Did this walk a few times before and it is always great. Parked in lower car park and walked to upper lake for peaceful board walk with amazing scenery. Carried on down a gravel road currently being developed. Signposts will bring you back to lower car park. Walk around 8k and takes 60-80 mins. Hill up a little challenging but worth it. You can drive up hill of course to upper lake.
