Everything was 10/10!
Really clean everywhere, with great pool/leisure facilities.
I loved the water stations to refill bottles to start off hiking days - great to see a big hotel making an effort to be sustainable.
Breakfast had everything you could want, and the dinner was amazing! The bar with live music was great too.
All staff were so friendly & helpful - special thanks to Katie & Andrew at Reception, & to everyone who sang Happy Birthday to my Dad in the restaurant!
We will absolutely be back :)

Our staff travelled to Dingle to celebrate our principal retiring in his birth place. In June, I made contact with the hotel to reserve rooms for October, straight away it was hassle free and Caren in reservations took over with a plan on how best to accommodate our 40 guests and their bookings.
Caren was always proactive in making contact with me to ensure everything was running smoothly and on track. She gave us advise on activities we could do in Dingle during our stay and phone numbers of local taxis that could ferry our guests from Tralee train station to Dingle.
Upon our arrival, we were welcomed with the Céad mile fáilte Ireland is renowned for. Our guest of honour was upgraded to a suite with champagne and treats upon arrival. The rooms were clean and modern with views of the wild Atlantic.
Breakfast in the Skellig is worth getting up for!! Unfortunately on the day of the trip, we learned of the sad passing of a gent with close links to the school. I emailed Caren to tell her we would be checking out early on the Sunday to return for the funeral a 3 and half hour drive away. She immediately rang me, passed on her condolences and arranged to have the breakfast room to be open 30 minutes early to ensure we were all feed before we headed on the road.
On the Saturday, many of us availed of the complimentary use of the outdoor hot tub – with treats and refreshments, sauna and steam room – a pure luxury!!
We all dined in the hotel restaurant that night. We had a separate eating area looking over the Wild Atlantic! Complimentary Champagne was served to us all upon arrival at the restaurant.
Overall, I could not say enough good things about our experience in Dingle. It is a special place, with special people and lovely nooks and cranny’s to explore. The Skellig is a gem and a must to stay in if your travels are taking you to Dingle!

Room tip: reserve the outdoor hot tub - its a treat!

I want to say a very big Thank You to all the staff of the Dingle Skellig Hotel.

From the very warm welcome, beautiful food and great entertainment in the bar on both nights, we had a fantastic stay this weekend.

The rooms were absolutely beautiful and I can't thank you enough for the amazing room you gave me. I will never forget when I opened the door, it was just spectacular and then the breathtaking views of Dingle Bay opened up in front of me, I was totally blown away.

Thank you for making this a very memorable trip, looking forward to the next one.

Stayed here for 1 night. Unpleasant Musty smell along the corridors. Classic rooms are just basic and cold. Checked the radiators and pulled the curtains open and found a sock left behind from previous guest. Had spa booked and searched room for robes and slippers in the room. Tried ringing reception and the phone not working. Found a cleaner passing the room and ask if there was any robes for the room and was told for these rooms they are not available and she went and got robes for us. Spa didn’t feel like a spa. Relaxation room was bright lights. The outdoor jacuzzi was barely luke warm, but there was notice of this before going out to it. Key card to the room didn’t work and had to go down to reception in robes to get new cards. Food in the bar was fair, didn’t finish our mains. Starters and dessert filled the gap. Rooms at night got really warm and pillows were hard and uncomfortable. Cushions for decor on the bed had white stains. Overall dissatisfied stay

Stayed here for 2 nights in classic room. Bedding and towels were quite dusty as were the lamps. Bathroom basic bath/shower. Dead flies and insects on roller blinds was a bit off-putting. Room very hot at night even in the middle of winter. Rooms could do with being renovated and was not worth the price they are charging.
Reception, toilets, bar and breakfast area are like a different hotel. Very modern and clean . Pity the rooms weren't of the same standard. Breakfast had large selection of pastries, menu had a good selection and food was good but portions were a bit small. Cleanliness not top priority here. Reception staff were accommodating
