We just loved our three night stay at Heaton's in Sept. 2009 on our first driving trip around Ireland. It was clearly the highlight of our trip. We had a beautiful room on the front of the Inn overlooking Dingle Bay. Wonderful breakfasts-my husband said he has never had such delicious fresh fish as the halibut served-he ordered it for every breakfast!
We spent lots of time chatting with Cameron-Nuala seemed to be occupied supervising the housekeepers or the kitchen. Cameron is a charming fellow, and offered many good suggestions. He advised us that the first Dingle marathon was taking place during our stay, so suggested we plan an alternate day for driving the Dingle Peninsula.
We were so glad he did, as it was a spectacular drive, and a beautiful sunny day.
We purposely avoid the big tourist spots like the Ring of Kerry, and found the Dingle area to be a better, much less crowded alternative.
It's a bit of walk into the center of town, but the parking is free most anywhere, and is easy to find. If we ever return to Ireland, we would most certainly return to Heaton's.

My husband and I stay at Heaton's Guesthouse for two nights in mid March, 2010. Really, really a nice place to stay. Our room was comfortable......we didn't choose the best...but it was the experience in the restaurant that made this stay memorable for us . Heaton's had just started serving dinners..... which were prepared by the proprietors' son. We immediately booked a dinner. It was amazing. We really wish them the best. Even though this was at the start of the season and somewhat hectic for them they pulled it off. My husband and I enjoyed the pride the proprieters' showed in their son's accomplishments. During dinner at Heaton's we got a call from our son in the US that he had just been accepted to law school. Here's to proud parents! Best of luck to Heaton's Guesthouse and their son's adventures. He's really good!
PS: Mom and Dad you do really great on the hospitality side but you already know that. Good luck to your son!

This Guesthouse is lovely and in a great location right on the water with a terrific view in the Woods area and a five-minute walk to town... but what you'll remember forever is the absolutely incredible, one-of-a-kind breakfast that is included in the rate and includes the largest, freshest buffet ever plus made-to-order breakfasts that are indesribable. The innkeeper, Neula, is warm, wonderful and charming, and you can tell she truly loves what she does and enjoys her guests. Be sure to wake up hungry and don't miss her freshly baked scones, porridge with drambuie, bread pudding, brown bread and much more. And the service across the board is outstanding!

The BEST bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at! The family and staff treated us like their own family. (No, were were not argueing ;) LOL. They were sweet, friendly, and very helpful. We rented the Jr. Suite which was spacious, beautifully decorated, had a beautiful view, and was spotless. The breakfast was mouthwatering, everything was made to perfection and served with humor, and friendliness. They started doing evening meals which was even better than the best restaurant in Dingle, which we swore could not be outdone. We did not want to leave but we will always come back! We would recommend Heaton's to everyone heading towards Ireland.

Easily the best B&B I stayed in my trip around Ireland. Dingle was a gorgeous place and each morning when I looked out my window it looked straight out onto a gorgeous view of Dingle Bay. The location was super with only a short 5 minute walk into town. The house was impecably clean and comfortable. Nuala is such a friendly hostess always willing to have a chat and not to mention a great cook. Her son's restaurant for dinner had gorgeous food and our waitress Fiona had a great personality to get your day started off on a great note. I would recomment this place to anyone!
