We arrived just before they were closing but the friendly staff happily sat us in their comfortable dining room with beautiful views of the bay and countryside, and allowed us to enjoy a leisurely breakfast. The food was quite good, particularly the fresh salmon, but it was the warm service that we will remember fondly for years.

Wonderful B&B. Since the manager Jacqui, is also the chef for their restaurant, breakfasts were wonderful. Besides regular Irish breakfast fare, she offered fresh grilled salmon or hake each day. We stayed 2 days longer than we'd planned and visited all of Dingle Peninsula from there. When we asked to extend our stay and they had no room they gave us a private house they also rent at no extra cost.
Service was very friendly

We were looking for a table for 4 at 7.30 and although proprietor told us that he was fully booked for that time, he nevertheless made a phone all to one of his guests who had booked table for 4 at our requested time and persuaded them to free up table for us.
There is a very extensive menu available with emphasis on a huge range of fish dishes. Without a doubt one of the best meals we have enjoyed during 2016.

Staying in the area "en famille", we were recommended by a friend to eat here. Essentially, a B&B with evening meals provided. First off, the booking was easy. We were 12 adults and 2 babes in arms. No deposit was requested, "all I ask is that you be on time". This is a rural setting so we booked a minibus so that all could enjoy a glass of wine if desired. The view from our dining room was stunning....the Atlantic coastline at its best in the evening sunshine. Our request to the friend for a restaurant serving good fish was right on the money. The menu is extensive, with most fish species available. Between the lot of us we sampled most of the crustaceans and fishes on offer. All was extremely fresh and well cooked. There was no shortage of potatoes and vegetables to accompany the dishes. All of the food is cooked to order.

Well worth the effort to get there. If seafood floats your boat, then this is very much worth a visit (or two).

We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of local friends. It is located in the breakfast area of The OId Pier B&B, so it is small, only about five or six tables. It is essential that you book in advance. The Old Pier itself is located in Ballydavid on Slea Head Drive, and the views from the house are absolutely stunning--cliffs, the ocean, crashing waves, seabirds. There is a table within the restaurant that sits in the bay window where you have a front-row view of the ocean and cliffs. It would be good for a table of six. You will be greeted and served by the proprietor, and his wife is the chef in the kitchen. And the food--wow! You would think you were in one of the finest restaurants in a big city somewhere, not sitting in a remote location with amazing views. The food is not cheap, but the quality and the portions you receive are well worth it. I had the special of Seafood Mornay, which was a very rich dish in a wine/ cream sauce chock full of fish, mussels, shrimp, langostinos, lobster and scallops covered with cheese and baked (26.95 euros). It was delicious and filling. There were several types of gourmet homemade breads on the table such as cheese, herb, and brown bread. My husband had the whole pan-fried black sole, which was huge, fresh, and very tasty (32 euros). The meals came with sides of vegetables, salad and garlic creamed potatoes, which were delicious. The owner who serves you is a little crusty, but gracious. This is an amazing restaurant.
