Stayed for 3 nights from the 19th of feb with my partner . We enjoy holidaying in Ireland and have stayed in some of the best 5 star hotels and country houses in Ireland . This is the best place we've stayed , it's the complete package .The rooms , location , service and food are exceptional . Had the porridge with a choice of baileys, whiskey or Irish mist , heavenly . The owners have thought of every detail and deliver a wonderful experience . Will definitely return

We stayed at Castlewood for two nights at the end of February. Everything was perfect. Helen, Brian and each of their staff are gracious hosts. Breakfast was gorgeous and delicious each morning - from the handmade bread pudding and soda bread to hot perfect omelets, pancakes and eggs benedict. The room was spotless with beautiful views, the bath luxurious and the amenities thoughtful. I would not hesitate to recommend Castlewood to anyone. I look forward to getting back their soon!

I watched this guesthouse being built and have stayed there a couple of times since then. I had a birthday party in Dingle some years ago and some of my friends stayed here. It is brilliant. It is bright, spotless, and the rooms are luxurious. Each bedroom is done on a different theme and Helen & Brian are excellent hosts who have thought of every single detail. The guesthouse is perfectly situated as it's a short stroll from the town but just far enough away that you won't be bothered by any noise from the local hostlerys. It has fantastic views and I can't imagine a better place to stay in this beautiful town! As stated in one of the other reviews, it is slightly overpriced but I will definitely go back!

My Husband and I are just back from a stay in Dingle where we stayed in this beautiful Guesthouse. From the friendly welcome, the luxurious rooms and the fantastic breakfasts we were truly well looked after. The views of Dingle Bay from Castlewood House are just stunning and the location is very convenient to the town itself.
There was an excellent choice for breakfast and the food was perfectly prepared. Brian and Helen were so friendly and welcoming and the waiting staff where great. Loads of tea/coffee top ups and an array of breads, fruit etc to enjoy.
They try to think of everything too make you stay perfect from the umbrella’s & complementary take away coffee at the main entrance door, to the bottled water, books and availability of DVD to enjoy during you stay. Overall one of the best guesthouses we have stayed at and we will definitely be going back to Castlewood again

I gave this 5 stars but the first thing i have to say is it is definitly overpriced, however it is perfect in every way, the couple who own it are always on hand to give advice and asking if here is anything they can do to help, some 5 star hotels could learn a lot from these two, the hotel itself is spotless and so well cared for, our delux room was huge and comfortable, lovely bed and the bathroom was amazing, as everyone has said the breakfasts are top class!!! I think it stands to the couple that there is not one bad review about them on this site, that is amazing in its self!! Keep up the good work

Hi First of all delighted with your recent reward. Well done and deserved.

Myself and my wife stayed there last year while attending a wedding and despite having to change my reservation late in the day due to an accident, we could not have been made more welcome.

Its a really nice product, very high quality and the breakfast is out of this world. Had stayed the previous month in Lough Eske Hotel in donegal and this was as good if not better.
