Helen and Brian deserve every award for Castlewood House as they make every guest feel special. The standards are uniformly high- lovely bedrooms, relaxing sitting areas and breakfasts than surpass any five star hotel.

Always professional, never intrusive, perpetually friendly. That is how Helen and Brian manage the Castlewood House. Their staff are happy and I view that as a reflection of how they are treated at work. This is a newer facility so you have all of the modern conveniences. Our room (#8) was spacious and had a terrific view of the bay. The bathroom was extra large. Breakfast food is excellent with many choices.

From the moment we walked in, Helen (owner) couldn't have been more accommodating.
She even took my sons bicycle into her own house as it was an expensive racing one. I had never stayed in Castlewood before only the family's other B&B next door. But WOW to get two of the best in Ireland with views and a breakfast menu to die for. I live in Kinsale and we have many beautiful places but OMG please treat yourself to a few days in Dingle and say hello to good old fashion honest friendly family hospitality

We had a very quick stay of just one night, but were greeted with such a warm and friendly welcome. Helen walked us through restaurants and things to do right away. Nice walk to pubs and dinner to see the whole town! Bread pudding was AMAZING for breakfast!! They even were so kind to let us come back after checkout to grab a quick shower after horseback riding in the rain!! Very thoughtful service, and great attention to detail on accommodations and cleanliness. Thank you!!

Excellent Hotel. Warm welcome, Great comfortable Rooms Breakfast with fantastic choice & quality. My wife and I have stayed here on 3 occasions.... March 2018, June 2012 and Feb 2014..
The hotel is located in the town overlooking the scenic harbour. The owners and staff are extremely welcoming and attentive to your comfort and requirements. We only stayed one night but will return again soon.

Room Tip: Book a room with a Sea View
