After several rainy, muddy days walking the Dingle Way, Castlewood House was everything I had hoped it would be. A beautiful bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, large bath towels, a fluffy robe, tastefully decorated room, afternoon tea, delicious breakfast and wonderful service were a highlight of the best stay of my walk. Thank you so much! I would highly recommend.
Owners Brian and Helen, along with their staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional from the moment we arrived. I was greeted with a warm cup of coffee on a chilly morning after a red-eye flight and zero sleep. Brian took time to get us an early check-in during morning breakfast (which he is the chef for hands down some the best breakfasts we've had) to allow us to catch a few hours of sleep before beginning our trip. Helen would chat with us in the morning while seating us for our meal. On top of beautifully decorated and neatly kept rooms, they provided whatever was needed to make us feel at home. Castlewood House in Dingle is a wonderful gem that added to our relaxing visit in Dingle.
The whole stay was exceptional and personalize, from owners checking us in to stopping by during meals to chat. The breakfast was SOOO good and staff very friendly. Even meet Rick Steves, lol. You will see what I mean during breakfast. 🥞. I was referred here by guests who stayed last year and well worth a stay. 10 out of 10.

This hotel is the gold standard for visiting Dingle and indeed Ireland.The lovely staff welcomes you as a family member, Helen and Brian are hosts beyond compare. The breakfast is a gourmet delight from the buffet (which is a gastronomical extravaganza) to the individual main course. The rooms are aesthetically pleasing, so comfortable and welcoming in a unique and healthy manner. This is my most beloved hotel in 50 years of traveling.
