I've stayed in several hostels around Ireland and although this isn't the worst I've stayed in, this certainly isn't the best. I'm glad we didn't have a room right next to the kitchen because it would have been way to loud to sleep. The communal bathrooms were right across the hall and the showers were down the hall. One of the toilets didn't work. It's not the best kept place, and they could definitely update the place a little to make it nicer. I've attached a photo of our door handle. A plus is that they provide a shuttle into town rather than you walking, but it only goes one way.

I really enjoyed my stay here.It is located about 20 minutes walk from Dingle town and a great base for exploring the surroundings. There is a great atmosphere here and the staff are very helpful and friendly.l love the kitchen which is called "Cúchulainn's Cookhouse" and has an excellent painting of Peig Sayers on the Blasket Island. It is indeed a great place to stay and I will be staying here again in the future.

Great camping/ hostel with excellent facilities in walking distance from Dingle town. Took us 10min to stroll.
Shared kitchen area, shared shower/toilet block which does the trick.
Camping out front or at rear. Nice hosts and no strict rules. Great for sightseeing or hiking holidays for all ages.

I have stayed here before through the years as a girl guide & had great experiences but unfortunately the same cannot be said for my most recent visit. I had arranged with a member of the Rainbow staff back in June to come from cork and camp with friends on Saturday July 23rd & they said no problem, no need to book just arrive down but I confirmed it in writing via email a number of times as well as phoning just in case. I even confirmed that it would still be OK for our group to come and camp here on Friday July 22nd (the day before we were due to stay) to which I got a response that said it would be no problem at all. Unfortunately when we reached the campsite we were told that there was nowhere for us to stay even though we had it confirmed in writing and there was nothing they could do. We were extremely disappointed and upset as we literally had driven over three hours and had nowhere to stay due to no fault of our own. We will not be making any future plans to visit here and will advise others not to either. 100% míshásta.

Shower, toilets (all clean) and a big kitchen for a cheap price. Quite places for tents. A little bit far of the town but if you call they will pick up you by car. Nice welcome. A good place for travelers
