We stayed last minute. Spacious rooms for family of four; separate rooms for parents and children. Simple interior but updated. No A.C. but windows open to have some fresh air otherwise it gets a little stuffy. Read later that fans were available. Super close to almost any site, and food choices galore nearby in any direction. It does get a little noisy at night, if windows are open due to all the late bars and crowds. Would definitely go again.

Located in a trendy part of town, close to Temple bar, Grafton St, and Stephen's green. Safe area at night if travelling on foot. The hotel is sorrounded by good bars and restaurants , so plenty of options there! Not plush or lavish but clean and homely. The staff were very helpful. Because of its central location this hotel is fairly noisy at night, especially if you want to open windows.
The library bar is full of character and atmosphere and worth a visit.

From arrival to departure the staff were excellent, helpful, cheerful and always attentive. The building has character, ideally placed for a wide range of activities, temple bar is only a short walk as is the happen bridge and the spire. We had a great few days just window shopping and sampling the local food and drink (especially the drink, my wife has taken to Guinness with a dash of blackcurrant, which makes it OK for me to have some too). The locals lived up to their reputation of being friendly and outgoing, we found some lovely restaurants locally too, always a good idea to book well in advance. The hotel bar was a little small on occasion, when it gets really busy at weekends they open up another. Breakfast was excellent, I really enjoyed the full Irish every day, the white pudding and the sausage especially. All in all it was a fantastic place to stay for a midweek break, totally recommended.
