An early trip to newry for a dental appointment meant we were coming back the road with empty tummies so looking for a quick bite to eat. Reception pointed us the way for breakfast, @ €12 in sounds steep but you have a choice of cereals, fruit and yougert with a selection of juices before your hot breakfast. There was loads on the full Irish breakfast which includes tea/coffee and toast, there's also a cheaper options, a total of 5 different variations so no fear of being hungry on leaving. Very busy with hotel guests and passing trade like ourselves which probably explains the slight delay, but the staff were all very friendly and attentive. We'll be back!

I arrived here with my brother and parents. The location of the hotel is perfect because it's one of the last stops before you cross over to the North. Which is where we were heading.

Staff at the front desk and the maintenance staff were very warm and friendly. The bathroom was gorgeous. Very modern which I thought strange considering the rest of the hotel (incl room) was a bit dated. Shower was amazing. Room was spacious. Beds were extremely comfortable and I had the best nights sleep in a long, long time. The TV worked as well.

The next morning we decided against having breakfast as it would have set us back €12 for each of us. It was a bit outside our budget so we opted for a McDonalds breakfast a little bit down the road.

The room cost €79.

I gave four stars instead of five because of the expensive breakfast. I would really recommend this hotel.

I was working all over Ireland this week and found this little gem of a hotel...

Upon arrival I was greeted by two lovely young ladies I didn't catch there names but they were friendly polite and very welcoming...

I was given room 518 which again was spacey clean and tidy with a comfy bed..

The hotel boasts spar facilities gym and a top restaurant and bar

Upon arrival it was very busy with lots of holiday makers I found everyone friendly and polite

I ate within the hotel restaurant and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food lovely that's all that can be said

I would recommend this hotel I have stopped here on many occasions top notch thanks guys well see you again when on business trip

I made a reservation for 5 adult's for my Father;s 80th birthday in the restraunt for 6pm for the 9.7 2016. We arrived at 5.25pm , I went to reception and said I have a reservation for 5 people in the restraunt for 6pm, can I change that for two more people. The girl at reception said no problem I will tell them in the dining room. 6.30pm no one came to us with a menu (which is their procedure). My husband went to one the staff, and told them we have boked for 6pm, still nobody came to us. I then asked a waiter at the bar could he find out for us, finally 7pm we were called. The food was over cooked. We then asked for the cake to come out,( which was left at the hotel that afternoon ) We waited, asked again the waitress eventually came, but our taxi was waiting outside. So My Dad did not have the night we promised him. As you may guess we were fuming.
