This is a remarkable feat of nature. A solid mile of craggy rock allows the water to travel fairly sedately in the summer. Not so in the spring ( the best time to see it is in the freshet) the water roars through the solid rock creating wells that are perfectly round and incredibly deep.

It's a beautiful building and the Falls and gorge are spectacular almost as good as Niagara Falls. The information and displays inside are interesting and the people are very helpful

My wife and i visited grand falls September 2016, there are some lovey views of the falls and a nice walk alongside of it. Unfortunately as Canada has had a dry summer there wasn't much water flowing but it was still very nice.

This has been very dry so the falls were not representative of the description in brochures. A little disappointing but easy to access.
Full service town.

It had rained the night before so we expected some kind of fall, but it was a mere trickle. Perhaps the wrong time of year. Clean area but not much to visit. Left after 5 minutes.
