Hylands Burren has been bought and totally refurbished by its new owners . They have done a beautiful job . The rooms are most comfortable and there is a lovely Bar in which customers can get a very tasty meal .

We used this hotel as our base for exploring the Beautiful County Clare.
Rooms were lovely and very comfortable.
On a main road, so a little noisy... but beautiful views to the hills from my bedroom window.
Breakfast was good.
However although the hotel is quaint, it seemed somehow lacking in atmosphere.

Clean, comfortable, excellent service, good parking, tasty food, lovely bar and reception areas. Ballyvaughan is a beautiful village which is a delight to visit.
New M17 road is a great improvement for accessing this part of Ireland from the North.

I spent two nights at this hotel and it was really great. The owners have managed to mix friendliness, good service and really great food at a good price. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all great. Highly recommended.

Had a few unusual special requests due to me coming with two dogs and eight puppies. Thought hotel might not be pleased at this b the staff couldn't have been more accomodating. Bar staff also very friendly.
