The simple things in life are sometimes the best and PV is one of them. You won't find a better cup of coffee, thin crust pizza, or bowl of minestrone for miles. Atmosphere is everything in a restaurant and PV is very laid back and so welcoming that many customers never seem to leave... Forget the diet and try the homemade florentines or cakes - carrot, lemon drizzle, amaretto - to name a few regular offerings. Overall, the menu is very simple but also offers a cheese board, panini, all complimented with rocket salad, olives and sun dried tomatoes. The main area is full of all sorts of Italian deli goodies and the other is dedicated to a vast array of second hand books, Dvd's and CD's. The owner grew up in Italy but Killaloe is lucky that he decided to settle here.
