“A lovely quiet place with friendly owners”
Reviewed 7 September 2011

A friend and I completed a charity cycle through Ireland in August 2011 in aid of Enable Irealnd. We would like to thank the Owners,Susan and Doug for their kindness and generosity in supporting us and providing us with a complimentary room during our stay in Lahinch. Once again, the hospitality of B&B owners has been great. Tea,coffee and beautiful muffins upon arrival! Bikes stored away for the night and provided with a very cozy twin room! The room had a very spacious ensuite bathroom. Everything was spotless! Plenty of information laid out around the house for things to do and see in Lahinch and surrounding areas! Susan and Doug were very friendly and full of info too! Doug pointed us in the right direction for great food in town and also kindly drove us in! A very nice breakfeast was had the following morning before they waved us off.. Lovely place,Lovely people.. Highly recommended!

Very happy with my recent choice of B&B in Lahinch, I also found other reviews to be accurate.
Susan is a fantastic host; friendly, open and unpretentious. The breakfast was great with good healthy variety and delicious home made breads, muffins, etc.
The double room en-suite was homely, clean and warm. All our needs were catered for incl somewhere to store surf boards and wash & dry wet suits.
Possibly the best B&B to date that I have stayed at in Ireland.

We had a fantstic stay with Susan at The Siding; the room was excellent and the food was first class. We highly recomment Susan's home cooking - her muffins and home made breads are amazing.

The property is well situated on the road beetween Ennistymon and Lahinch, a 10-15 minute walk to both.

Compared to other B&Bs this one is excellent value.

I stayed at The Sidings B+B for 3 nights with my two teenage sons for 3 nights in July. The coffee [real coffee!] and muffins [fresh muffins!] were a lovely and unexpected start after a long journey and set the tone for a wonderful stay. Susan was very tuned in to us and our needs which included access to a freezer for ice packs for a sprained wrist. She even managed to decipher our breakfast needs which included fruit compotes, freshly baked bread and home-made granola as well as "the full Irish". Douglas twigged that we were surfing after coming across our drying wet suit and kindly offered his surf board. Couldn't recommend The Siding's highly enough, though a little out of town for the drinking driver!
