This was our third stay at the hotel. First stay was excellent, second stay wasn’t so great and spoke with the management team about this. Was invited back for a third stay and was assured experience would match our first stay and it was. From our warm welcome from the lovely receptionist to the excellent freshly made cocktails from the barman. The manager on duty that evening was also excellent and made sure our experience was good. Room was lovely and spacious, 4 poster bed. The food in the restaurant was great as was the breakfast selection in the morning too. Overall stay was excellent definitely 5 stars. If you are looking to do a little shopping at the outlet village and have a nice relaxing stay then this is the place for you. Special mention goes to Debra the Manager who helped with everything.

Stayed here for a couple of nights as son was getting married here.
Reception area and bar area very nice and relaxing. We had booked 2 rooms on a bed and breakfast basis. Check in was fine and easy. We had a single and a double room and on taking mum to her single room we were astounded as her room was huge with French doors to a little court yard with chairs and tables perfect for sitting out with a cuppa, cigggie or something stronger.
Couldn't wait to get to our room but was very disappointed when found we had obviously a standard double no thrills although it was fairly clean and decorated ok it was dark and dismal with one small window quite difficult to see to put makeup on in either the bathroom or bedroom too.
Anyhow the wedding was held outside in the water gardens which was lovely, very romantic, with luckily for us fantastic weather. Only downside I would say is could do with a few seats or benches for us oldies.
Breakfast was good although a bit a slow at replenishing it seemed to have nice quality produce on offer though.

So sorry to hear about your disappointment with your room allocation, apologies for this. I am glad to hear the wedding was romantic and lovely, I take your point about the seats or benches, something for me to consider going into next year. Congratulations to the happy couple.

We had our wedding in the water gardens at Greens last week, and it was quite honestly spectacular. The two of us travelled down on the Thursday, while our seven guests arrived on the Friday, the day of the wedding.

The rooms were all absolutely lovely and spacious. We had upgraded to the four poster suite (with jacuzzi bath which we didn't know about when we booked it!) but even our guests who were in standard rooms were delighted with the accommodation, they all commented on how nice the rooms were.

The wedding ceremony was held outside in the afternoon, and the setting couldn't have been more perfect. The hotel had a room on standby in case the weather took a turn for the worse, but luckily the sun came out just in time and it was really beautiful. The gardens were the perfect setting both for the wedding and the photographs afterwards.

As we were a small party, we decided to have our meal in the main restaurant, however we booked one of the private corner tables which are screened off from the rest of the room. This gave us just the right amount of privacy whilst at the same time we were still able to hear the music etc. The meal itself was perfection, again all the guests commented on it. The waiting staff were friendly and attentive and were always available when something was needed, whilst not being in the least bit intrusive. We stayed in the restaurant into the early hours of the morning, and even after the restaurant had closed and the waiting staff gone home, the night receptionist was happy to bring drinks to us. One of the staff actually commented on how nice our group was - I think they had had a rowdy party the night before, but it was a nice thing to be told!

The wedding planners were great as well, we had only been in our room for about five minutes on the Thursday when one of the planners called to say she was available to talk through the plans for the following day. Similarly, the next morning I was walking through reception when another wedding planner stopped me (she recognised me by sight even though we had last met in january) and checked we were happy with all the arrangements.

Every single staff member we encountered was friendly and polite, and although the hotel was clearly busy they made us feel like our wedding was the most important thing to them.

The only very very slight suggestion (not a complaint) is regarding the path to the water garden. One of our guests was in a wheelchair, and when we visited in january, the path to the garden wasn't wheelchair accessible. When we came down this month, Greens had clearly done a lot of work to make it wider so the wheelchair was able to get up the path. However, there is a short section of the path made of gravel, which was difficult to navigate in the wheelchair - it took two people to push the chair over this section. If the two paved sections of the path could be joined by a few paving slabs, it would make it much easier for wheelchairs to get over.

But once again, thank you Greens for making my wedding day so much more than I could have imagined, it was perfect in every way.

Went to Greens Hotel for our Anniversary lunch. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was fab. Had to bring half the burger roll home. Very filling. The premises were very clean and tidy. Waitress was never far away if you needed anything but never hanged over the top of you. Very nice indeed.
