Visited here on September 8th for one night with my wife.
Upon arrival we were upgraded to the luxury Double which was greatly appreciated.

The room was superb, very comfortable and a lovely big shower and bathroom.

The staff throughout our stay were fantastic, very friendly and chatty.
We are in the restaurant that night and the meals were very nice as was breakfast in the morning.

Well done Gretna Chase. We will return.

We stayed at the Gretna Chase for one night last week on our way up to Loch Lomond. From the first phone call to the hotel to make an enquiry to checking out, we had no complaints and were bowled over by the ambiance and charm of this lovely hotel. The hotel was easy to find, had a good car park and nice grounds which looked well cared for. The staff were attentive, the room was large, comfortable and well appointed. We had a ground floor room that was spacious with a very clean bathroom with a bath and separate shower. The bed was huge and very comfortable and the bed linen was of decent quality. We ate dinner in the restaurant and found the food both excellent and reasonably priced and breakfast contained everything that we wanted with the usual range of cereals, juice and fresh fruits. Cooked was to order which we prefer and my husband loved the fresh kippers with poached egg. The only thing that could possibly be improved was the lighting in the bedroom and bathroom but that in no way detracts from the many positives that the hotel offers. We would be more than happy to stay here again and would recommend this lovely hotel.

Stayed over for one night en route to Edinburgh from Leeds. This hotel is extremely handy for the M6/M74Another couple (family) came to meet us at the hotel and the four of us enjoyed a very pleasant meal and drinks.

Room Tip: Had the deluxe room (cheapest I think) but very comfortable. Free Wi-Fi, electric socket had USB charging points; so quite impress.

We could not do this place justice as we only had lunch. The service was good and friendly, lovely little garden to sit in, even though it was a windy day. Food was delicious. Thank you we shall return one day.
