We just loved Sea Shells as it is just a short stroll to the beautiful LLanbedrog beach (under ten minutes) which has a golden sandy beach with shallow water - perfect for small children There's a beach bistro and bar, too, which serves a range of foods (we loved the gorgeous home made crab soup).
Just five minutes walk from the cottage is Tremfan Hall - a baronial hotel with sea views and an incredibly well renowned restaurant open to non guests. Abersoch itself is only a five minute drive away with its long beach (see if the dolphins are there in the morning!) and all its tasteful bars and restaurants catering for every taste (Welsh to Mexican and Thai!).
Sea Shells itself is very comfortable (no hard beds there!) and is decorated with a range of tasteful art from antique to modern. The garden is a beautifully secluded spot to read a book in. There are lovely walks all around from the front door.
We were even able to take our pet which makes us happy and given that it's such good value, too, we will definitely be going back!
