Stayed here for a second time (firstime was 2.5 years ago), the location is great, the rooms are spotless. I think Doolin Activity Lodge is quite good value for money. There is lots of parking available and its a short walk in either direction to Doolin or Fisherstreet. The only area I think that could be improved on is the breakfast, its quite greasy and could do with more healthy options, fresh fruit and irish jams. Overall a nice stay!

Room Tip: Room 46, 3 double beds, great for a group or family!

I stayed a room with three beds and a small lounge/kitchen area. It was spacious enough for all three people and it was nice to have tea/coffee to prepare in a separate room. The bathroom was a little small and the shower head was a little too low (I'm about 6 foot). A few friends stayed in the larger adjacent apartment which has a lot of spare living space if that's what you're looking for in a bed and breakfast.

The restaurant above had a lot of options for breakfast and the food was good.

The accommodations themselves are pretty equidistant between most of the local pubs and not too far a walk from the beach.

My husband and I and my mother stayed here for two nights in mid May 2011. Our rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The only downside to this B&B was the lack of electrical outlets in the room. It's a little hard to charge a phone or use a hair dryer with only one available outlet. They had free wi-fi and computers available in the reception area as well as free parking. All in all, we had a nice stay. Doolin is a cute little town.

Big modern place with huge rooms and bathrooms specifically built as a B&B.
Convenient location to the village and the quay.
Really more like a professionally managed hotel than a B&B.

Stayed for 3 days with my adult children after flying in to Shannon airport. Booked rooms before our trip & was offered a second floor apartment complete with 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, living room/dining room & kitchen at an exceptionally reasonable B&B rate. Our apt. was large & spotless, breakfasts were very well prepared & delicious & the staff were very pleasant & helpful. The village has 3 exceptional pubs within walking distance as well as some lovely shops. This is a hidden gem in a lovely, quiet little Irish village and I can't recommend it highly enough! You won't be disappointed.
