Lodge Doolin was a nice new construction and clean set of buildings. Felt like Half inn half hostel half residences. Few guests when we were there. Room was moderate size and basic (except bathroom floor was heated!). Clean and comfortable. Common area had full kitchen and seating for social. Large parking lot and easy to walk to both village areas for dinner and shopping. Breakfast good on second floor dining room. A strong less expensive option to several of the inns nearby.

Positives during our stay:
Location in Doolin is good, walking distance to pubs and restaurants.
Breakfast menu was good.

No warm welcome on arrival.
Very pricey for basic rooms.
Wouldn't stay here again.

I wish there were more stars! The entire staff is extremely nice and very helpful, and the room was spotless. Breakfast is a must! There's a fantastic pub and some nice shops down the road, and the locals are absolutely lovely! I will definitely be coming back and staying here!

Me and my boyfriend stayed there for one night and our room was just amazing I just loved it and heated floors were great . The only problem in this hotel is that one great man at the breakfast was serving us then cooking breakfast which wasn't so good and then we seen him fixing something in the rooms such a great men. During check out I was just so disappointed man at the reception had his legs up on the table so unprofessional , And this young man that does so much in that place doesn't deserve to work there !

We got into Doolin later in the evening after a long day and were so happy to find The Lodge, Doolin. The check-in with Niall was pleasant and quick and he gave us some good tips and assistance. The room was very spacious and clean with everything updated and modern. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The Lodge is also within walking distance to town. We decided to do the beautiful, long hike from the Lodge to the Cliffs of Moher-but if you don't have the time or energy, the drive there from the Lodge is quicker.

We stayed here 1 night while back in Doolin for a second time in 2 weeks to hear great traditional Irish music at McDermott's Pub.
This place was clean and seemed fairly new- the only drawback was the complete lack of hot water.

We asked for it to be turned on, but that did not happen until we were packed and ready to leave after breakfast. While they did suggest that we could stay longer to shower after all, we had a schedule to keep and needed to leave.

I would probably recommend this place to tourists in the summer- seems like the shoulder season may not be the best time to stay here. Also, gluten-free folks be a bit wary- the breakfast staff did not understand the need to segregate GF toast from touching other bread. Not much in the way of vegetarian gluten free breakfast fare.

What an amazing experience!! I stayed here with my wife and three children for three weeks while we explored the amazing West Coast of Ireland. Without a doubt the best family holiday we have had. The Lodge was faultless - clean, comfortable and ridiculously friendly. Deirdre and Niall were the perfect hosts - full of great advice and travel tips, happy to help whenever we needed it but also gave us heaps of space to just hang out and enjoy our stay. I cannot recommend highly enough!!!
