Booked a double room here as was attracted by rave reviews and pitch of "own door entrance for guests which makes it quitter than most b&bs" sales line. Despite this, we were given a room over the busy kitchen which is active from very early morning. The stairwell to the own door entrance was also right beside our room and all rooms in a small corridor. The irony was therefore that despite the sales pitch this was the loudest b&b I'd stayed in.
Room was disappointing. The double bed was minimum size and the window in the room was very small. No attempt to add small touches to the room or bathroom and products in bathroom were two nearly empty bottles of aldi creams. Nothing against that per se but would have expected a price tag of 50€ on this room not the 90€ we paid.
The breakfast was very tasty and a nice selection of breakfasts provided however we found it so off putting that at the top if the menu it read "please enjoy ONE TRIP only to the buffet"! A first.
I'm afraid we found the place soulless but the hostess was a nice lady. Improvements could be had addressing the items above.More
