Le Millet from the 'main' road into the hamlet. Think we had three cars down it last year!

We travelled from the north west of England,First of all the owner gave very good directions to get to Le Millet, We arrived to a lovely pack left by the owner, who lives next door. The house is full of character renovated to a high standard in keeping with the surrounding area, although too chilli at this time of year there was a patio and garden to sit and enjoy the open fields with a glass or two. Every room was well equipped , the small 'town' down the road was not far away,we tried two restaurants which were not expensive. Will definitely return

We stayed here in August last year and were very happy with the accommodation. The house is light, spacious and well equipped, there's plenty of garden to lounge around in and the terrace is a sun trap. It's out in the countryside so it's very quiet in the immediate area with plenty of good walks on the doorstep, but is only a short drive to Ploeuc where there is a weekly market, supermarket with petrol station and a good range of decent shops and bars and restaurants. Within striking distance of the tourist towns and the beach, we were never short of something to do and looked forward to getting back to the house every night.

Management Response

I guess we have different definitions of leaving somewhere 'clean and tidy'. If that means unadmitted-to stains on the carpet and garden furniture, light towels dyed (and ruined) by being washed at high temperatures with dark colours (and 1 disappearing completely), a brand new cooker and oven being covered in so much grease it alone took over an hour to clean, cigarette butts discarded at the front and back doors, and a damaged barbeque by being left out in the rain, then yes, it was left clean and tidy. That's not our definition, however, and neither is it that of the vast majority of our other guests who find Le Millet clean, charming and relaxing, and who leave it that way too. So for the first time ever, yes, we did retain a security deposit, which didn't cover the cleaning and linen replacement costs incurred.
