Pub nicely set out with board games and magazines. Small outside area but it's been used to it's maximum so there are heaps of inside and outside tables. Looks great too. Dogs allowed.
We went for a special dinner with my family, including my Mum. Main courses of mussels and other dishes , lamb rump and veg. Both were pretty tasty. Lovely beer and wine.
Puddings - kids ordered brownies and ice cream etc. I had a crème brûlée which had a fab crunchy top but a single cream runny consistency underneath it. My husband had bread and butter pudding with a split custard, which was pretty horrible. Couldn't be bothered to complain as the pub had filled up punters. Doubt anything could have been done anyway....
