We had prebooked a table as it was the pink garlic festival in Lautrec. There was a ramp outside then inside a self operating lift to take the wheelchair up to the dining area. We had requested a table in the pretty inner courtyard but on the advice of the owner we stayed indoors with air conditioning to avoid the 36degrees. The set menu of 21€ with garlic based starter and main was delicious. The service was excellent from start to finish we felt most welcome. What a pity that other French restaurants do not feel the need to make adoptions to their premises.
Merci bien au personnel pour l'accueil chaleureux que vous nous avez accordé hier

An unexpected delight.
The service was attentive but not claustrophobic. The food was of exceptional quality for a set menu.
Would very happily eat there again tomorrow

Went with friends as my last night in France so wanted something special.

Le Clos hit the spot with great cooking and presentation. So nice to have something different even from a restricted menu.

Great advice on a lovely bottle of inexpensive wine do no effort to "upsell".

Lovely evening and would go back.

We received a warm welcome after a long chilly ride to reach this restaurant at night. It was a holiday so we ended up dining alone in the restaurant. The restaurant is well decorated and clean. We took the menu of 19€ entree, plat et dessert and a quart of red wine (reasonable price). The entree of cake de chataigne was a very nice suprise. The main plate of pork however was not at the level as expected compared to the entree. The meat could have been made softer. The dessert was very original creme brulee au poivre, which was a delight! I recommend you to try it and judge for yourself. The photo i posted is the entree. I forgot to take photos after that I was too eager to eat, my apologies readers. :)

The owners of the nearby Villa de Mazamet recommended this delightful restaurant to us. It definitely surpassed our expectations and despite being located in the centre of this lovely medieval village, we would most likely to have just passed it by.
We received a lovely warm welcome and were offered a choice of tables either outside on the patio around the back of the restaurant or in the cool dining space in an inner courtyard protected by a sail from the very hot midday sun.
The dishes we chose on a very reasonably priced set menu were excellent and we enjoyed our meal from start to finish.
