I think this small hotel has the best view of the island. My opinion.
One of my favorite things was riding their pedaling boat all around the bay. It was an exhilirating view of the see and the mountains. Simply astonishing.
We are very glad to see your excellent review! You know you can always come back!
This hotel is nice to stay, I really like it. I went with my whole family, and I went for two times in one month. The price is good. The place is very clean and service it was good, we went two times because of good service. We enjoy everything there and the jacuzzi was awesome. I love it!!!! We comming back in the summer for school vacation.
We stayed in Sava Salinas recently (march 2017) and confirm all the good things written in previous reviews. Very nice little place with 7 rooms and a beautiful garden and pool.. (They are building more rooms) Upon arrival we were offered a fresh coconut immediately.
We even had a room with a spa on the room's balcony. Ramon was very helpful in filing the spa and warming it up. (Ask him if he didn't forget to swith on the heating power downstairs..) He was very helpful in everythng we needed. We ordered food from the restaurant in the village which was ok although it took longer than expected to deliver. Half an hour after they confirmed that what we ordered was available, the message came that we had to choose another item on the menu as our choice wasn't available. But as we were on vacation it didn't matter much.
The little breakfast buffet just for the two of us (we were the only visitors at that time) was fantastic. Plenty of choice.
In the morning we borrowed the sand boards from the hotel to go sandboarding in the dunes across the road. As the guy with the key of the entrance gate didn't show up for more than an hour after opening time, Samuel Sr. (Very nice person, speaks English very well) showed us another way in. We had a lot of fun trying the sandboarding in the hot dunes. (Mind you my age is 70!) I strongly recommend this place to anyone!
We feel both privileged and humbled to hear such great reviews from our guests. We strive to make you feel comfortable, something like a second home so Hans, feel free to comeback whenever you want. I will share this with the staff, I know they will feel happy with your review.

An incredible place to chill out and relax. Samuel, the host is an amazing conversationalist. He does everything to ensure your stay is absolutely wonderful.
The villa is immaculately manicured. The breeze is intoxicating. The rooms are impeccably clean and comfortable. You can sleep with windows open.
This is a must-return again!
If you like fishing this is the place for a relaxing fishing experience.
Thank you Samuel, Wendy and Ramon!

This place is great if you want what they have. The rooms are spacious, clean, well appointed and the air conditioning works well. I found the pictures online are accurate. The real gem of this place is patio and gardens. The exteriors is amazing. I am not talking high end exotics but just well landscaped and very peaceful with palm trees, shrubs and orchids everywhere. It's a very serene setting and when the wind blows it just great. I have been here 3 nights and every afternoon I lie in the hammocks and enjoy the surroundings. The staff is super friendly. Sam, the proprietor speaks good English however the rest of the staff does not. I speak very little spanish so communication is not idea but we were able to work through it and they were patient. Thank you google translate. Almost no one speaks English in this part of the island so this was not unexpected. Food and drinks are good. Breakfast is cooked in house and I thought was good. Keep in mind it's prepared by the people that live here...not chefs so don't let your expectations get the better of you. They have a partner restaurant that you can order dinner from and they will bring it down to the hotel. The service this way is slow however you can just order dinner ahead of time. I told them I wanted XYZ for dinner between 7 and 7:30 and it was ready then and quite good. They do have sand flees and mosquitos so come prepared with insect repellant. This also to be expected when you right on the beach. They are doing construction on the property. This didn't really bother me at however I can see how this may be bothersome depending on what they were doing. As of now, the rooms are not fitted with a hot water and this was a disappointing surprise however manageable after the first early morning shower. Even with that, I would still stay here again. Plus, they are in the process of adding hot water. Overall, I am really glad I stayed here. I can't imagine a better experience.
I just shared your review with the staff and we all are thankful to you for taking the time to write such a nice review. Please feel confident that things will only get better here, it's a new business and we strive to make everyone happy in our spot. It's been great to host you and we can only wish to see you back anytime around.
Kindest regards,
Samuel
