The hotel itself is great and the staff are very helpful and friendly if you can find them! Unfortunately the staff were so rushed off their feet that it was difficult to tie anyone down. We stayed at this hotel back in 2012 and it was perfect, this time however we stayed on a Friday night in the height of the season and it was extremely busy. My main gripe was at breakfast which is a buffet type where long waits for food were experienced due to the food on the hot plates being quickly used up, also the toast machine which did not have any controls at the front not browning the toast, attention to detail clearly missed. Seemingly when it is extremely busy at Premier Inns they find it hard to cope with issues at breakfast, I had a similar experience last month at the Premier Inn Maidstone (Sandling), there did not appear to be a manager on the floor at either hotel to deal with the problems.
