Stayed for 2 nights in the touring park which is owned and adjacent the little village. Upon checking we found the wardens very helpful and friendly , love the idea of being able to prebook your exact pitch perhaps something the caravanning and motorhome club should also look at doing, there’s nothing worse than arriving then having to drive around looking for a suitable pitch!! Being able to choose your pitch at the time of booking is fantastic. The toilet/ shower block was spotless and checked during the day at regular interval, another great idea. My only criticism would be the block would have been better designed if the washbasins were built as privacy cubicals with a couple of extra hand basins for use when using the loos. The little village itself was a great place to while away a few hours with its variety of shops and the restaurant on site was a bonus giving me time off from cooking in our motorhome each day. Will defo be returning.

We’ve visited Blakemere on a few occasions over the last year and we really enjoy it! The food and service in the cafe has always been good and there’s a nice little selection of shops to wander around at your own leisure offering a range of different things. Our little boy loves the play area and it helps make for a nice family day out.

I really enjoy coming down to Blakemere, having a bite of lunch, looking around the antiques and other little shops. Summer is good for the garden shop and the owner is very helpful with his recommendations

Arriving at 10 am when it was supposed to be "open" nearly everything was closed. The antique place wasn't opening till 10:30 others it wasn't clear when they where opening.

The place looks run down and a bit dirty.

The previous day we went to dagfields and that seemed very different and also trentham is in another league.

I won't be returning

Thank Simon G
