“Peak of Accomodations”
Reviewed September 1, 2018 for a stay in August 2018

For our second holiday in Birchover we fortunately chose Cobbler’s Cottage as our base of operations. Charlotte’s
communications with us were undeniably superb, as was the lovely stone cottage with new fixtures and fitting decor. She made an extra trip to Birchover to supply towels and a sheet. Great walking in the area and it’s just over an hour from the urban scene of Manchester. Groceries are easily found in Bakewell, 12 miles away or so. Great lodgings.

“Well equipped and excellent location”
Reviewed May 21, 2018 for a stay in May 2018

This is a very well equipped (everything pretty new) detached cottage with everything you need and with walks on the doorstep.

Owners were excellent communicators and directions were very good.

Wifi worked well - mobile phone reception a bit iffy.

Very minor issues for us - light curtains in bedroom and weedy shower - which might have been our fault as water pressure is high and loads of hot water

Excellent overall and would use again.

Mike

“Wonderful weekend”
Reviewed March 24, 2018 for a stay in March 2018

We chose this cottage for my birthday weekend in March, the beast from the East reared its ugly head with its snow fall again but this didn't hinder us having a wonderful time. Charlotte and Robert made regular contact to ensure that we were ok due to the amount of snowfall.
Cobblers cottage was very comfortable both with the beds and being very well equipped. Two pubs The Red Lion and Druids Inn in very close proximity and bus stop directly outside the cottage. We would highly recommend this cottage but can't comment on the walks as we were quite limited due weather, the cottage has books and maps for various different bike rides and walks.
