Good range of salads and steaks, staff were most friendly, there were lots of locals and tourists as little else was open. The food was well presented and filling, Had the carafe of rose wine which was what we needed, as well as a carafe of tap water which you can usually ask for. We found this especially helpful in the warmer places in the South of France.

The London Pub appears to be one of only two bars open after 9.00pm in Evreux town centre. Various lagers are on sale in 25cl and 50cl glasses. The cheapest grande bierre is ''33 Export'' @ 5,00 Euros. The bar is quite nice inside and has a large outdoor seating area at the front. Service was slow even by French standards. The waiter was collecting glasses inside near the window when there was four tables waiting to order drinks.

Ate here twice. Dinner and lunch. Waiter service was slow but food was very good and fresh. Excellent desserts and drinks.

We picked the London Pub at random, as it was the first place that was open we came across and seemed to serve drinks and food. A nice blend of 'English Pub, but without the overly heavy wood decoration you sometimes find.. Very kind team in the pub, which makes all the differnece. We had a few drinks and a quick meal. All was very much OK, affordable and excellent service. And very well located in the center.
And yes, there are TV screens around the place and soccer was on...

Ironically I had just said to my husband (emphatically) "We are NOT eating in an English pub while in France. Then we walk into the busiest place in the area, called London Pub.
Great value - I had the "entree, plats, and dessert" menu, choosing country terrine, chicken smothered in cheese and molten lava cake, and a 45 cl carafe of Bordeaux. Hubby had a scicilan burger and beer. The whole meal was under €40, and we are stuffed. The menu had quite a bit of selection, including a lot of pastas.

The dessert was ok, but the terrine was amazing. The place was packed with young couples and what looked like "girls night out" tables.

Definitely not an English pub, despite the name. I'd go back for sure.
