We had a pleasant overnight stay prior tor our visit to the Silkeborg Museum the following day.
The hotel has been modernised with new rooms and conference rooms. It was a long walk from our bedroom to reception and on to the gastopub (good cheap food compared to many Danish restaurants).
The room was comfortable. Breakfast was rather a disappointment. We were down about 30 minutes before the service closed but the choice was very limited as much had been taken by earlier guests and not replaced (we don't really know what we might have missed but the only warm food was boiled eggs). There were no staff readily available to ask for milk and they had to go out to buy extra rolls.More
