We have just had a lovely week arranged by Mauro. Our apartment 1/1 had a huge balcony with a superb view of the pool and the bay

The pool was the cleanest we have ever seen and the lawns of the complex slope down to 5 beaches to swim from

The on-site pizzeria / restaurant was great. We are there 5 times. The well stocked supermarket provides. Varied anti pasti for the other 2 nights

We went to the market in archarena on Wednesday. Over in the ferry to Maddalena island and to San Teodoro and spaghhis Bianca. ( fabulous and 5 mins away )

Only downside for us soft brits was the lack of air con. In high season it was too hot. 2 fans provided helper a bit but it was very hot !

All in all great though and definitely go back at a cooler time

Lovely resort very picturesque area. Throughly enjoyed our recent stay. Very relaxing with a lovely beach area and pool area. We were able to get an umbrella on one of the beaches anytime of the day. The pool area always had spare chairs so you could sit around it as well and bearing in mind we visited in peak season this was a bonus with a baby.
The restaurant was lovely with really friendly staff. Book if you want a table outside! Food was good and fairly reasonably priced. Bar area was handy as was the shop at the top of the resort. Our only criticism was the size of the room (quite small) and the fact the outside seating area (for 2 people) looked on to a wall and was in a walkway for other rooms. Our room also had the bin area outside it (although emptied regularly people were filling it during the evening so it did smell a bit).
Rooms were clean and functional and although we were told towels would be changed every 3 days they were in fact change every 2.
Something to note, the resort is very Italian and hardly anyone speaks English apart from a few staff. We managed to walk to Porto Rotondo ( although a long walk in heat) and catch the train to Olbia therefore a car isn't essential but desirable. We would definitely recommend and go back ourselves however would pay extra and stay in an apartment with a balcony, cooking facilities and a view next time.

The setting is stunning, the residences spill down a slope towards the sea and horseshoe shaped bay. The sea is shallow and a mix of sand and rocks perfect for either rock pooling, snorkelling or swimming.
The complex is a mix of holiday homes and rooms to let. We had a double room with bathroom and outside patio area. The rooms are basic but comfortable and spotlessly clean. Towels and sheets changed ever 3rd day.
There is a well stocked supermarket, but you have no facility other than a fridge, 2 restaurants and cafe plus a pool. The pool closes between 1-3pm which is odd and you have to have a hat (5 euros from pool attendant).
There are plenty of options along the coast for restaurants all confined within similar complexes.
There is very little culture/places of interest so that needs to be considered if that is of importance to you, but if you want a beach holiday it would be hard to better it.

I stayed in Residence Marineledda with my boyfriend after being recommended the hotel from a friend. We stayed for 5 nights & had a wonderful time. The hotel complex looks very nice and is large - I liked the community aspect. I believe there was not a town very nearby but there was everything we needed there.
There was a lovely bar/restaurant on the hotel site (they had amazing pizza!), a great swimming pool (you do have to wear a swimming cap, available to buy from the lifeguard for 5 euros), a supermarket just outside the entrance, a tobacco shop & shop selling cheap beach things (snorkels, goggles, umbrellas, lilos etc.) and the best part is the private beach! A one minute walk to the bottom of the hotel and there's the most lovely beach with gorgeous sand and blue waters. They have a small area with umbrellas owned by the hotel but you can walk up the beach and set up there if you want to. We always found a nice spot without too many people, maybe because we went in mid June so there weren't too many families yet.
We were greeted by the hotel manager, Mauro, who kindly stayed very late at the hotel to check us in as our flight was a late one. He organised a taxi to pick us up and drop us off (be aware taxis seem quite expensive in Sardinia). My boyfriend stupidly lost his phone on our journey from the airport to the hotel and Mauro was so kind to ring up the airport and the taxi driver to find it! He organised for the driver to bring it down the next day - thank you again Mauro!!!
Also Mauro was happy to answer any questions and when we asked about how to get to the port for a specific boat tour, he was very helpful in trying to find the best and cheapest way to travel there.

The wifi was ok, I think our room perhaps did not connect very well to it. There is wifi for everyone to connect to at the pool.

The price is great and we got more than we expected. I would say it would be good to rent a car so that you can explore Sardinia more. We could not drive but were perfectly happy staying at the resort and private beach to relax for a few days. I would definitely recommend for anyone to go here for a lovely and relaxing beach holiday, whether that's for a couple or a family.

Thank you so much dear Kasia,
it was a real pleasure to read your wonderful comments, for me was the minimum I could do for you. The most important thing is that you have spent a restful, relaxing holiday. I hope to see you soon.

We have stayed at Marineledda resort as part of our honeymoon and it was excellent. Accommodation was nice and clean. The restaurant is at the resort so it is very convenient, there is also a shop near by if you need to pick up some necessities. The resort itself is very quiet so you get chance to relax. Beach is within walking distance and its just perfect. Not overcrowded at all. The resort manager Mauro was excellent and very helpful with every request we' ve had, also his staff went beyond standard service. Restaurant and housekeeping staff were brilliant. Would definitely consider coming back. Thank you to everyone at Marineledda to make our stay so special.
