I love to eat where and as the locals do and this spot is close to home, beside our vet and a real go-to for great cooking. We could not fault a dish - the dressed tomatoes were fab and full of flavour. Anywhere that can make a humble tomato sing deserves praise. We enjoyed both meat and fish dishes. My sea bass was the start of the show however. This is renowned for its seafood so come for fish and save your meat cravings for La Carbona for example.

Excellent food (local tapas and main dishes all freshly cooked to order), excellent prices, very friendly and helpful staff - I would definitely return without hesitation.

A number of reviews have mentioned cleanliness and I can only agree....this place is spotless!

We were the only tourists in the bar which was full of locals, but we were made to feel very welcome. It's helpful to speak a bit of Spanish, but the menu is translated into English in any case.

A great little find that I can't recommend highly enough.

Thank Julie C

I am very glad we escaped from the hotel and stumbled across this little restaurant just 200 metres away. I had dorada a la plancha and my partner had entrecote steak; both were cooked to perfection and were reasonably priced. The service was friendly and efficient, and the room, although nearly full, was surprisingly quiet for a Spanish restaurant at midday!
Recommended.

Small and traditional seafood bar. It has daily fresh fish directly from the coast, perfectly fried, and also traditional tapas and meat. Absolutely recommended, at five minutes walking from Hotel Jerez.
