We stayed at this City Centre hotel for 5 nights. We took the wonderful advice and recommendation of the hotel's owner Monica and discovered the real Jerez and surrounding area. She pointed us to the best tapas bars, restaurants and the wonderful bodegas tradition. The hotel is very good value for money, the rooms are top class and a wonderful breakfast to last through the day.

Wonderful charming and unique hotel. Building is full of character -very andalusian. Huge room, simple and stylish decor. Fantastic roof terrace. Intimate Library with many books in many languages, music and comfortable sofas. Staff and service exceptional. Worth going to Jerez just to experience this hotel. A joy!

This is an exceptional place run by the exceptional person Monika S. It is outstanding in all counts and an oasis of humanity in a world when you could get Ryanair customer services. I can't praise enough.

Room Tip: Explore with Monika the options. Email or phone. She will discuss. I was accommodated in a roof apartment for the four of us as family to be together.

We were traveling through Andalucia this winter and decided to pause in Jerez for three nights. We weren't really interested in sherry tasting, nor the famed horses here, but we did think it might be a worthwhile city to see nonetheless. We were not disappointed. It was truly one of our favorites in southern Spain.

The hotel, at first, was intimidating. We do not carry a cell phone as we have our computers which allow us to use Skype if we need to make a call. We arrived in the early evening only to find the front door to the hotel locked. We rang the bell. Nothing. Again -- and again, nothing. We went next door to the bakery and the salesperson there had a phone and we eventually tracked down the manager. She'd been working outside of the range of the doorbell.

But that was the only glitch during the entire stay. The hotel was fantastic! Our room was a corner one -- with lovely windows giving the place an airy, light feel. The breakfast buffet (and eggs to order) was delicious and it was not skimpy, despite the fact that at least for one of the nights, we were the only guests there!

The manager was extremely helpful. She knows the town, speaks English and, what's important, she gives you as much help as you want.

One tip -- she directed us to a place for dinner -- La Cruz Blanca. A simple place. We loved it so much that we ate there all three nights.

Truly, Jerez was an unexpected joy and the Casa Grande really set the stage for it. We will remember it as one of the most special places in our vast travels.

Room Tip: Ask for the corner room with all the magnificent windows!
