This is a welcome addition to the town centre eating options especially with its lovely tranquil setting beside the old town hall. This was my 3rd visit and I have not been disappointed. The staff are particularly friendly and helpful. The choco (squid) and rape (monkfish) were particularly good. At the last visit we had an issue with the pork that we felt may not have been fresh - we didn´t eat it and made a comment to the waiter and it was removed from the bill with no issue. We felt they dealt with it very professionally and has in no way affected our positive opinion of this restaurant.

Whilst visiting Jerez for the day we wanted somewhere different for my husband's birthday lunch and this place really fitted the bill. It is amazing and gets very busy. We had a lovely table outside and could enjoy the activity going on around us in the restaurant. The staff work very hard to ensure guests are comfortable, by moving tables into the shade or into the sunshine whatever the request. Nothing is too much trouble. The menu is very good and food very different. Such a refreshing change. We enjoyed three courses and a bottle of good white wine. Reasonably priced. Would definitely return.

A very obliging waiter, an extensive (if somewhat expensive)menu and a great location make this a good choice for dinner.

So we took a chance on this place as we spotted the idyllic setting on our way back to the hotel. Initially everything seemed good, the waiter was very friendly and it looked from the outside like a well taken care of place. How wrong we were. Our starters came, mine was a kind of wannabe nouvelle cuisine of sliced carrot with some kind of sugary brown sauce squirted all over the place. Taste was ok, not unpleasant. Then our mains... We had a pile of really rubbery chorizo with greasy chips (fries for the American readers) and fried eggs. Then skewers of pork, which upon closer examination turned out to be raw all the way through the middle! Unfortunately I only noticed this after eating first from around the (cooked) edges. When I told the waiter he immediately apologised, took my plate away and came back with two glasses of cheap sherry. A replacement dish never arrived and, needless to say, we didn't feel like ordering desert. When the bill came I was astonished to find that not only had I been charged for the uncooked meal, but they had actually OVERCHARGED me for it by 2€ more than was stated on the menu! I was incredulous, but when I complained they only offered to readjust the bill to the menu price, rather than actually discount for the meal we sent back. They then offered us another 2 glasses of complimentary sherry (which we declined). I just wanted to get out of there so I paid the full bill even though I hadn't eaten my meal. I feel bad for the waiter because he was very kind but unfortunately the food was just so awful. It was genuinely the worst meal I had in the whole of Spain, I wouldn't come here again if you put a gun to my head.
