Very nice hotel ! Nature incredible !
But this hotel is far from the city .
The hotel has a large restaurant serves simple, large portions !
friendly staff !
The rooms are cozy , in the old style. As the hotel has a bar with a variety of drinks and a large swimming pool. Very often, here are celebrating a wedding , and a variety of holidays on a large number of persons!

Stayed: September 2015, travelled with friends

My partner and I stayed at the Borgo San Luigi for five nights in August and it was absolutely lovely. The staff is super friendly and professional and the overall ambiance is really relaxing. The Borgo is close to all major sights in Tuscany, including Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra.

The food has been delicious and the rooms a splendid too.

We would recommend anyone to spend some time here, with or without children.

First time to Tuscany, organised trip with Imagine Cruising, 5 days in Tuscany then 7 nights on Cunard Queen Victoria. Borgo San Luigi is charming albeit some of the rooms are much too small and should only be offered to solo guests. The grounds and terraces could be kept more tidy and maintained for the added comfort of guests. Staff very pleasant and food good. The Imagine Cruising organised daily trips need some review as some travellers were unable to deal with the terrain and steep inclines to access some venues.

Room Tip: Do not accept the very small rooms at the back of the estate. Some rooms have a sunny terrace with loungers so that yo can be private.

Borgo San Luigi is a wonderful place , ideally located in between Florence and Siena. The hotel's widely spread houses allow to host many guests without ever giving you the feeling to be in a crowded place.
We were among a wedding party of about 200 people, all staying at the hotel and we never realized that there were so many people.
The place is quiet and you feel more like you are walking through a park than being at a hotel.
The staff was absolutely lovely and very gracious when handling extra wishes.
Children as well as grown ups feel comfortable and welcome.

Very nice rustic hotel in the middle of nowhere. It has all the facilities that you would need for a lovey relaxing holiday with a very clean pool. Great for couples and kids if they are happy to relax and have a swim. The room was clean and well appointed and the staff were very good. The food in the restaurant was excellent bar prices are a little high but all in all a good stay.
