I have been using IBIS Schiphol for over 20 years and it continues to get better. As a member of the Accor Hotels they know what is needed for the business traveler.
The recent addition of the "Sweet Wing" is a huge PLUS. This private wing in the hotel is for the business traveler. It is quiet, has a small lounge with extra coffee, tea, and water and rooms with their new "sweet beds." The wing can only be accessed by the room key to keep traffic to a minimum. Joining the IBIS Business Club is one of the few cards that gives great bonuses when traveling within the Accor Hotel chains—early check-in, late check out (until 5pm), drink voucher, and room upgrades.
There is also a priority line in the lobby now for early check-in, online check-ins, and business travelers. The free drink voucher from the bar or the take-away market is a nice touch.
The shuttle from Schiphol is free and runs about every 20 minutes.
Albeit it winter, the rooms can get a bit stuffy since the windows seal tightly to protect your sleep from the airlines arriving at all hours, but thankfully the windows do open and fresh air is available. The room also has a laptop-sized safe and a power code to handle different plugs and USB charging ports.

There are other iBIS hotels (IBIS Budget and IBIS Styles) nearby at little cheaper rate, but for the business traveler or in-transit traveler this is the perfect stopover. The ability to do your own laundry (wash and dry for about 7 Euros) is a huge plus.
The breakfast buffet is a tremendous choice of foods and drink. Buying it alone is a bit pricey (over 17 Euros) but when bundled online with the bed-n-breakfast package it is good deal. It is open from 4am to 12 noon.More
