The hotel is located in the center of the small village Slenaken. The hotel has a beautiful garden with a tennis court. The family owned hotel is very attentive and pampers their guests. When you order coffee or tea you receive a nice piece of cake and when you order drinks before dinner they serve free canapes. The hotel has a very nice swimming pool and a gym. We reserved half board and enjoyed the great cuisine. Every evening we have very much enjoyed the 4 course meal. I would like to recommend this hotel to everyone as we have very much enjoyed our stay.

When you plan your next trip to the world famous Artfair Tefaf in Maastricht ,or you just want to enjoy the beautiful countryside of southern Limburg in the Netherlands, consider hotel Gulpdal in Slenaken .Not only it is very close to the medeaval Bourgundian city of Maastricht,it also sits in the middle of the loveliest hilly environment of the province. And than there is the hotel itself: comfortable, very friendly service, good food and attention to detail . In short good value for money and very worthwhile your stay.

What a wonderful place to stay. Great view from the room, lovely helpful staff. Finger licking food and golf courses in abundance. Can't wait to go back again, really loved it there. The area is perfect for walking, cycling and golfing. Plus with in an 10 minutes drive you are In Holland, Germany or Belgium, really super.

Room tip: Lovely view at the back of the Hotel.

We really loved the small but still big family hotel. Nice and big rooms. Great bath rooms with jaccuzy bath tubs. Great green garden and beautiful views. Love our breakfasts. good location to travel in the area. Really enjoy the A-La carte dinner menu, special 4 dishes, different every night. We stay for 3 nights in July 2015, with our 3 girls (9,11,17) in 2 rooms and it was great. The only thing is, during the warm days, there is no aircondition in the room, but an open window was OK too. we really recommend this nice and quiet hotel, with his friendly staff that were really helpful for us. also good english speakers, which was difficult to find in this area. Nice and elegant design. very special atmosphire. Hope to come again soon. Love it !!!

Me and my wife spend three nights in this wonderful hotel. Service is good. Rooms are big. We had a junior suite which included a bathroom with both shower and bubble pool, a bedroom, a living room and a big balcony (with a wonderful view). The food was really good and every evening there was a list with matching whines for a reasonable price. Breakfast is good.
Lots of walking tracks in the neighborhood. Just buy a map for 2E in the little bakery/supermarket close by. This is much easier than the photo copied map from the reception. Only comment is that the wifi signal was very poor.
