Lovely restaurant, food was fantastic, well cooked, tasted great, well presented. The only gripe we have as the cost/portion ratio, we have no problem paying for good food but the portion size was a little OTT for the price.
They also recommend 3-4 plates to share between 2 people but it wasn’t enough for us, we felt you would need 4-5 with fries & a desert for you to feel full.
But don’t let it detract, give it a go & see what you think.
Special mention for the salmon cerviche which was delish!

Thank nho02

Top dishes are the mushroom risotto, baby squid and the Vietnamese chicken BBQ.

Save room for the apple pie it was superb.

Special mention for Fabio, who recommended some brilliant Portuguese wine. All in all it an excellent meal and venue and will return again next time in Vilamoura.

Came across this restaurant/bar by chance and wasn’t disappointed. We very much liked the look of the bar area so stayed for a few cocktails......the best by far that we’ve found! So much so we’ve returned again a few times. Definitely worth a visit!

We dined here last night, and booked from recommendation on trip advisor. Moving away from the marina was not disappointing. This restaurant is very unassuming from the outside, inside you are transported to a very trendy ambience. The staff are fantastic help when choosing wine and food. We sampled 8 dishes and three deserts between 4 of us. Everyone tucked into each dish, sharing each plate which is the delightful theme of the restaurant. With each dish came the “oh my god you have to try this” moment. Fish dishes came first followed by the meat. The Black Angus beef dish was superb and came with no sauces, the way s good beef should be served. The cocktails transport you to a cocktail bar in New York, each cocktail was amazing. We ended the night with a splendid liquid gold, Johnnie walker blue label. Definitely a must when coming to Vilamoura and somewhere we will frequent again.

Salamora offers all of the sights, sounds and gastronomic experiences of a world class fine dining establishment without the world class, bank breaking price!

We visited Salamora on a busy night without a reservation, but were made to feel incredibly welcome by our host.

Experience is at the core of the Salamora mantra, which is evident even before crossing the threshold. Having stepped out of an Uber, it took us a few moments to identify this modern slice of Portuguese dining culture, however once outside we swiftly noticed the TV screens with a view of the live kitchen, for those enjoying a drink from the bar on the terrace.

The vibrancy and excitement of Salamora comes to life when over the threshold. Every detail of the dining space has been carefully considered with the open kitchen at it's heart.

Greated by the sights, sounds, and smells of contemporary Portuguese tapas, our attentive waiter explained the Salamora sharing concept, before offering a range of cocktail specials alongside a more indepth menu.

Each of the 3-4 dishes chosen from the menu were delicately prepared, perfect in size, and well balanced in flavour. Our waiter was keen to talk about each dish and offer advice on further choices.

Tacos were a personal highlight, however the well considered menu offers a smorgasbord of tapas options for most tastes.

Our visit to Salamora was a truely five star gastronomic experience. This restaurant is a must visit during your trip to Villamora.
