Oh my God, if you want to be struck speechless with simultaneously the jaw-dropping beauty and the scary ride, this is definitely the place for you! It's considered the most dangerous highway and also the highest highway in the world. Stunning views, and scary passes so narrow that a car can fit through, but when trucks have to pass beside you and you're on the very precipice of the mountain looking down thousands of feet, you're amazed at the view that could kill you.

Zojila Pass drive was one of the ultimate experience of my lifetime. It was stunning. Magnificent view of the beautiful mountains.Mr.Shahid, the driver, being strong hearted to drive at such dangerous paths at an ease. He took my kids to snow mountains, luckily there was a snowfall, few days back, which could rarely be seen in October but we could get to be at snow mountains...

We went there on August 25, 2018. We never went to such road before so initially we were scared specially the kids were very afraid but gradually we started to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. That time there was no snow but we enjoyed the journey through the pass.

Had the lifetime experience of riding through the Zojila Pass on a RE Himalayan on 14 Aug 2018, on way to Leh from Srinagar.

The pass is about 25 - 30 Km from Sonamarg. It offers all the challenges a rider will love: dust, no road, deep valley, loose rock, mud, rivulets, animals on the road and rainfall, and above all heavy vehicle traffic. The ride is amazing and thrilling and not for the weak hearted. Temperature drops down as you reach the top.

On route the views are amazing.

Zoji la pass is situated around 25-30 km from the sonmarg. Its should be in your "must to do list" if you are travelling to sonmarg. We didnt observe snow anywhere when we visited in end August. Eventhough drive itself is thrilling and offers best valley views.

the drive was cool and a bit nerve wrecking. not an easy drive. scope of landslide and can get jammed. connecting srinagar with leh/ladakh and closes in the winter. the view is cool and u will see snows even in the month of august.

Zoji La is a high mountain pass on the Srinagar-Leh highway around 15 km from Sonamarg. The road becomes extremely bad (and at times dangerous) as you approach Zoji La, so one needs to drive carefully in this stretch. However, the views are simply breathtaking.
