At the core of Nameri , this property is the best place to feel wildness. Very well planned and wonderful ambiance here. A good forest trail to Jiabharali river is the best part here. good rooms and good dining facility here. You can also opt for rafting in season time. The sound of elephant we did experience during our stay here.

It is an interesting place to stay because it is glamping, NE India style. The tents pitched under thatch roofing is a good way to go in a very wet and rainy environment.. However, the tents could be upgraded. Lights, fans and the permanent concrete fixed bathrooms are certainly the best in the near vicinity. There are a few bamboo and thatch buildings in the complex hat might be a nice comparison at the facility. The Camp is the destination except for a rafting trip down the Bhoreili river. The booked Nameri Park walk with a guide was one reason we came and it was not available when we arrived. No one seemed overly concerned about what was not available. We walked down to the river at dusk and were told to hasten back because of elephants in the area. I think the concern was to avoid our observing some night time fishing on the river which of course is not legal. The river was very high and it was raining. The open air dining hall was good and you could order up your meals in advance which made for a very comfortable stay.

Food was excellent and ready at short notice. There were other attractions but we did not investigate. However the advertised museum was still to be built. Seems to be a small but interesting concept and idea of the owner. Looks like there is accommodation

The camp is located about one km from Jio Bhareli river which you need to cross to access the Nameri Wildlife sanctuary.
This place is a popular getaway spot for tourists so gets booked fast. We stayed in a dormitory. The place is very clean and well maintained nestled in the woods. Staff are good and so is the food.

One can experience the tent staying in the camp. The food is ok, though not much options. The behaviour of the persons in the camp is very good. The tent conditions could have improved. The river JIO BHARELI is close to the camp..1 Km walk..
