Absolutely awesome experience. The place is a hidden gem. The charge per room was 1950. The food was also good. The campfire is an added bonus. They also arrange treks and a rafting on the nearby river. We tried the rafting and it was a nice experience.

My words are falling short of appreciating the beauty of this place.
To start with, the resort has 2 cottages and around 8 tents. Cottages are built of Wooden material covered with grass thatch. Cottages are elevated enough from ground. Similarly elevated platforms are made for tents to keep them safe.
Rooms are neat and clean. 2 beds were provided in the cottage we stayed in. Bathroom was attached. Room was spacious and hot water was provided. Room has necessary facilities.
There is a dedicated cafeteria where we can order food. Please note that there is time limit for breakfast/lunch/dinner and we need to order food within specified time. Food quality is good.
Resort is surrounded by many Trees and plants. Plants include ferns which give refreshing look. if one is interested in to birds, there are lot of birds that can be seen around the resort itself. Butterfly lovers would also admire the resort.
Forest Office is adjacent to resort. One can get permission for safari from there itself at early morning or noon at the specified timings.
Rafting and Jungle walk are 2 modes of enjoying nature around Eco Camp. If you talk to resort, they can get it arranged for you.
Resort staff are very helpful and they entertain your queries with patience. Rest, forget everything and relax and cherish the beauty of nature around.

How to Reach:

You can hire a taxi or cab directly to Nameri Eco camp.

However, if you are travelling by public transport, you will need to be informed.

First you need to Reach Mission Chariali (Tezpur) Bus stop. From there you can get auto/tempo traveller for Balipara.
After getting down at Ballipara, you need to get transport for Hathi gate or Exo camp. You can hire auto directly for eco camp or get down at Hathi Gate. From Hathi gate, its 2 Km for Nameri Eco Camp.
I would suggest to complete the journey well before sunset as its an Elephant pro Zone.

The entire property is quite charming with the continuous chirping of birds. Lot of greenery around and adjoining the forest office campus.
Most of the accommodation is in tents with an attached bathroom. It is very simple and the food is good.

If you are looking to stay amidst nature and forests, it is an ideal place.

This is a lovely place right text to the KAMENG river, beyond which is the NAMERI TIGER RESERVE. Very earthy and up close to wildlife. In fact after sunset inmates are warned not to venture out as the place is frequented by wild elephants. There's a range office within from where you can hire a boat and a guide to visit the reserve. Its run by an NGO. There's also a pygmy hog breeding center, which is one of its kind

At the core of Nameri , this property is the best place to feel wildness. Very well planned and wonderful ambiance here. A good forest trail to Jiabharali river is the best part here. good rooms and good dining facility here. You can also opt for rafting in season time. The sound of elephant we did experience during our stay here.
