Nice lodge not very far from The Forks. Our lodge room was nice and very clean. It had a loft area with a twin sized bed. The cabins were really nice as well. Beautiful views- place for a campfire, kayaks, etc. were available. Friendly staff.

This is a beautiful perfectly run family hotel and cabins. In winter, warm clean cabins and rooms above the lodge. The restaurant is very, very good and a nice bar with vintage snowmobiles to see as well as moose antlers and stuffed animals. They have gas on site, and cater to snowmobilers all winter. The family that owns it work everyday to make the guests comfortable. They also groom the snowmobile trails almost every night. I love this place. They are reasonably priced and have everything a snowmobiler could need even places to leave jackets and helmets while eating or having a drink at the bar. My favorite place to stay in Maine and for those with a Canada pass for snowmobile they are only 45 mile ride to the border.

Have to start by saying my girlfriend and I became engaged here. We were looking for a nice quiet place and we found it. Not at from The Forks or Jackman and their beautiful sites. The cabin had everything you needed for a weekend, grill, oven, stove, fridge, fireplace, direct TV, etc. There was a place for campfires as well as anything you needed for the lake.

Having had such a great stay last summer we decided to return and experience the Lodge in the fall. What a treat ... the trees were turning colors and hit peak this past week....being from Florida this was a huge treat. We had a fire almost every night and explored areas down logging roads for those remote waterfalls that are not "right off the road." This year we stayed in a 2-bedroom cabin and everything I wrote in my review (July 2016) about the accommodations remains true. We did try Jimmy’s Market in Bingham (at Liz’s suggestion) and successfully stocked up for the week. The nights were crisp and we enjoyed an outside fire almost every night. This a remote area and exceptionally quiet. However if you need anything you just need to call Liz - she gets hold of Joe or Jonah immediately and they are right there to take care of your needs. I know this because I needed a lighter for the grill and Joe not only brought it over within about 5 minutes but proceeded to light the grill as well and when he saw how much wood we used he had Jonah bring over more in a very short amount of time (sorry Jonah - we did enjoy our evening fires!) Joe will stay and give you as much info as you like - he even went over our map to show us some more remote waterfalls to discover! Bottomline, if you want to experience a relaxing and quiet time this is the place ~ If want to experience more excitement - call Joe or Jonah - this is still the place! We will be back again!
