We stayed in their Yurt, which was a great experience. It is a bit more rustic, but wonderful lighting and ambiance in a great space. Our stay included a hot breakfast which gave you energy for a day of exploring and we also stayed for a tasty evening meal. Best of all the hosts make you feel welcome and are full of good ideas for what to see and do in the area.
Thank you dear Canmore Crew! Was great having you. We do hope in a near future to upgrade to Yurt even more and make it less Rustic but we still glad you enjoyed it. The Northern Lights arrived in our parts of the world so you just missed looking at through the dome!

While we knew we would arrive late and not able to socialize much, we found it extremely easy to get our room and become settled. The room was beyond expectation for us. Two beautifully comfortable beds, extremely clean room, along with instructions for amenities and a well-stocked, incredible bathroom. Once we awoke the next morning and found the owners, they were more than friendly. The main lodge is equipped with coffee, refreshments, a hot tub, incredible seating with a view of the valley between two mountains. They have goats roaming on the property during the day and a beautiful green house. Once we left, David actually found me via Facebook to alert my daughter had left clothes behind and not only did he hold them until they could be retrieved, he washed them! He went above and beyond and We will definitely stay there again. I highly recommend this accommodation and booking beforehand. They are not a 24-hour facility, so planning arrival during those hours are key. I cannot wait to make this drive again and to stay here.

This lodge is in a lovely setting a few miles before you reach HainesJunction. Roxanne and David took it over in April 2018 and have been working hard to bring it up to the level that they would like.
There is a main lodge with an executive suite and two rooms downstairs.the executive suite is suitable for two couples or at family as it has one large room a smaller bedroom for two and a shared bath. Views are lovely from the second story and there is a private patio. On the main floor there is a dining room,kitchen and sitting area for the guest to gather. Downstairs in the main lodge are two more bedrooms with a shared bath one story up on the main level.
Some dinners are included for an extra charge but breakfast is included and may be cereal, waffles etc. We enjoyed staying here but found the check in process a bit confusing as Roxanne was out of town. This is the first season for this couple and I think as time progresses this lodge will be sensational,organized,and buttoned down. We were a bit better worried that the executive suite would be noisy as it is over the dining room but it was perfectly quiet by 10 o’clock.
They executive suite bedroom was comfortable, large and had the most wonderful sheets and bedding plus a large screen TV and a small sitting area.

As you mentioned we took over the lodge early April and we are working really hard at improving the lodge. We want our guests to have a great stay and lovely experience while enjoying the Kluane National Park.

We just returned from a 3-night stay with Roxanne and David. Phenomenal hosts and even better people. After just returning from an 8-day river trip, Mount Logan Lodge was a perfect place to relax and take in the wonders of Kluane.
The Hosts: Roxanne and David are fantastic people with great stories. As new management this summer, they are constantly improving upon an already awesome place. They just want people to enjoy their time and you never feel like you are in their space. I cannot say enough good things about them.
Accommodations: we spoiled ourselves in the Exec. Suite, which is the entire 2nd floor of the lodge with great views of the mountains and private deck and a private bathroom. Worth the extra $ if you are up for it. But we checked out the yurt and the bus and would have been happy with either one, but offers different experiences. The bus would be really cool experience for those not needing the creature comforts of standard accommodations. We didn't see basement rooms.
Food: Roxanne is an amazing cook. Breakfasts were top notch. Dinners were spectacular. Honestly, I would not even consider going into town, having made that choice on night 1 at the pub in town. Roxanne's feasts are a special treat. Also a great chance to meet other guests or laugh at one of David and John's (neighbour with a helping hand) stories.
The Lodge: tucked in off the road, it is a beautiful piece of land overlooking the mountains and a short hike to the Alsek Valley. The main area in the lodge is comfortable and always accessible. You are made to feel comfortable and make use of any of the amenities you might need.
The Summary: Book it. Don't even think of other options in the Haines Junction area.

The lodge is very welcoming...owners and hosts Roxanne and David, are warm, accommodating, knowledgeable of the area and very engaging. There are a variety of rooms...mine was big, with a bathroom, and exit to the outside. I loved being able to get up early, walk up to the kitchen/dining/common area in my pj’s and start the coffe brewing. The food was delicious, every breakfast and dinner we had. Their greenhouse provides some of the fresh greens and herbs, making the dishes even more special. They’ve only taken over the place recently and told us of their plans for improvement. If I ever am back in the area, I will definely stay here again!
